• Litigation & appearances before EOIR Immigration Court, the Asylum Office and USCIS.
• Case management with supervision of paralegals and legal assistants to ensure high-quality work.
• Legal writing: conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, waivers, and other filings.
• Perform any other responsibilities as needed.

Duties

• Litigation & Appearances:Represent clients before the EOIR Immigration Court, the Asylum Office and USCIS.
• Case Management:Manage a caseload effectively while supervising paralegals and legal assistants to ensure high-quality, timely work product.
• Legal Writing:Conduct legal research and draft motions, appeals, waivers, briefs, and other filings.
• Perform any other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law with eligibility to appear in Immigration Court (California Bar membership preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in immigration law preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases under tight deadlines.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to drive for in person hearings and interviews as needed.
• Newly barred attorneys with strong potential are also encouraged to apply.
