Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Immigration Attorney in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will be motivated and qualified, with a strong desire to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume practice. Immigration experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in other areas are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active Bar License in good standing in a US state or PR; authorization to work in the US.
• Spanish language fluency is required.
• Immigration experience is preferred, but candidates from other practice areas are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Meet with potential clients and assess eligibility.
• Coordinate case strategy and manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Supervise staff and train team members; supervise paralegals.
• Prepare, revise, and file court documents; conduct legal research and draft motions.
• Keep abreast of changes in immigration law and relevant case law.
• Market the firm’s services and cross-sell other practice areas.
• Handle hearings and trials; work one Saturday per month with potential bonuses for new clients.

• Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm
• Handle court hearings and trials

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School
• Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR
• Authorized to work in the US
• Fluent in Spanish
• Immigration experience (1 year or more)
