BCG Attorney Search seeks an Immigration Attorney in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will have immigration experience and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with an active MD or VA bar license and ability to work in the US.

Spanish fluency is required to collaborate with clients. The attorney will manage client meetings, develop case strategies, oversee paralegals, draft pleadings, and stay current on laws and cases.

• Active Bar License in good standing from MD or VA.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Immigration experience (1 year or more).

Responsibilities

• Meet with potential new clients.

• Prepare and revise court documents.
• Conduct legal research and write motions, briefs, and memoranda.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and qualified attorney with experience in immigration law or related fields such as Family Law. This role requires excellent communication skills, team management abilities, and a proactive approach to handling a fast-paced, high-volume practice.

Duties

• Meet with potential new clients
• Coordinate case and legal strategy
• Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines
• Prepare and revise court documents
• Conduct legal research and write motions, briefs, and memoranda
• Keep abreast of legislative changes and judicial case law
• Market the law firm's services
• Work one Saturday a month with potential bonuses for new clients
• Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm
• Handle court hearings and trials
• Become an expert on Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School
• Active Bar License in Good Standing from MD or VA
• Authorized to work in the US
• Fluent in Spanish
• Immigration experience (1 year or more)
