This role involves representing clients in immigration courts, preparing legal documents, and staying current on changes in immigration laws. Duties:
  1. Provide legal representation in various immigration cases, including asylum, removal defense, and family-based immigration.
  2. Prepare and file legal documents related to immigration petitions and applications.
  3. Conduct client consultations to develop case strategies.
  4. Represent clients in immigration court and before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
  5. Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and policies.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing immigration law, with a focus on court representation.
  2. Strong knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and processes.
  3. Excellent advocacy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  5. Demonstrated passion for advocating on behalf of clients in immigration matters.
Education:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
  • Active state bar membership.
