Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Massachusetts or New York license strongly preferred; New Jersey, Connecticut or New Hampshire also a plus.
• Experience practicing immigration law as attorney of record, including appearances before EOIR, removal defense, asylum matters, and/or USCIS filings.
• Experience preparing clients and witnesses for hearings and interviews, drafting motions and legal briefs, and managing a caseload.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle immigration cases and appear in immigration court and before USCIS.
• Represent clients in removal defense, asylum, family-based petitions, and affirmative applications.
• Mentorship for newer attorneys and opportunities to grow into leadership roles.
