We are seeking a licensed attorney in Florida to join our team, assisting Attorney Mendez with client communication, case analysis, research, and drafting legal documentation related to U.S. immigration cases. We value individuals who love working with immigrants! The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, research, and analytical skills to handle an active and diverse immigration practice. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
At Michael Mendez, P.A., we aim to support your growth and learning. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, client development, attending interviews at USCIS, representing clients at Master and Individual hearings before the EOIR, and managing staff to ensure proper case handling. This role requires the ability to work efficiently from home, with the flexibility to come into the office for in-person matters as needed. Qualifications
• Licensed lawyer in the U.S., preferably in good standing with the Florida Bar;
• At least 1 year of immigration legal experience;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong research and writing abilities;
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines; and
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week during standard business hours, with a hybrid work model.
