Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Analyst in Detroit to support case preparation, document gathering, and filing with government agencies. You will interact with foreign nationals and client contacts, provide timely case updates and help maintain strict SLA adherence.

Ideal candidates bring a client-service mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and collaboration within a fast-paced team is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, Paralegal certification OR experience in a customer facing or client service role.
• Strong client-service mindset, attention to details and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and fluent prose.
• Experience using MS Word and Excel.
• Desire to contribute to a positive work environment and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Learn immigration matter types and firm processes.
• Prepare and file petitions with government agencies; gather and review documents.
• Communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts with clear case status updates.
• Meet SLAs and communicate case progress to supervisor.
• Compile data in case management systems for reporting to clients and managers.
• Contribute to team and individual productivity goals; follow firm standards to ensure compliance.
