Job summary

Allegheny County DHS seeks an Immigrant Services Program Coordinator to oversee immigrant and refugee contracts within the DHS Office of Community Services. The role focuses on program execution and continuous quality improvement, integrating policies with best practices and ensuring compliance with funding regulations.

The ISPC will build partnerships, analyze data, and support large-scale initiatives, including Family Centers and home visiting programs, across county and state standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Five+ years of experience in human/social services, education, or related fields.
• Ability to develop program policies and monitor compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop agendas, timelines, and activities to implement programs and procedures.
• Lead teams to execute programs, policies, and procedures.
• Understand programmatic and staffing practices to support continuous quality improvement.
• Identify strategic partnerships and translate them into actionable steps.
• Pilot new programs and policies under supervision.
• Collaborate with diverse staff to ensure equity and alignment with community needs.
• Review literature and analyze data to inform program development.
• Monitor reporting requirements at county, state, and federal levels.
• Attend and lead meetings and training sessions.
• Provide regular updates to leadership.
