Allegheny County DHS seeks an Immigrant Services Program Coordinator to oversee immigrant and refugee contracts within the DHS Office of Community Services. The role focuses on program execution and continuous quality improvement, integrating policies with best practices and ensuring compliance with funding regulations.
The ISPC will build partnerships, analyze data, and support large-scale initiatives, including Family Centers and home visiting programs, across county and state standards.
The Immigrant Services Program Coordinator works under the supervision of the Family Strengthening Program Manager and is responsible for program execution and continuous quality improvement efforts of the immigrant & refugee contracts in DHS Office of Community Services. The ISPC integrates knowledge of programs and policies with strong project management skills to support large-scale initiatives among DHS immigrant and refugee services. Additionally, the ISPC is responsible for supporting the integration of policies and procedures across other Family Strengthening programs that will enhance immigrant and refugee services and incorporate best practices. This role will help support program efforts of other Family Strengthening services, such as Family Centers and home visiting programs, where appropriate. The ISPC will develop strong relationships with provider partners to work toward shared goals of improving outcomes for immigrant and refugee families. Data collection and analysis are critical components of this role, ensuring policies and practices evolve to meet the dynamic needs of families and children in Allegheny County. In addition, the ISPC will conduct annual monitoring of programs to ensure quality and compliance with funding regulations. The ISPC’s work will enhance integration of policies, procedures, and implementation to align with local, state, and national standards. The ISPC will represent DHS OCS to advance strategic initiatives across the county and among stakeholders and collaborative partners.
You would be an employee of our partner agency, Community Family Advocates working onsite at Allegheny County DHS.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, plus at least five years’ experience in progressively responsible positions within human/social services, social work, or education field; or, any equivalent combination of education and experience which meets the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
