Job summary

Colgate University’s Ho Tung Visualization Laboratory & Planetarium seeks a creative Vis Lab Producer to assist in developing digital content aligned with Colgate curricula. This part-time role involves collaboration with Vis Lab staff to create immersive visualizations, animations, and interactive modules for the planetarium and education initiatives.

The position includes training in Blender, Digistar programming, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Unreal Engine, and other visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in digital media, animation, visualization, or immersive technology.
• Ability to work independently and manage creative projects.
• Willingness to learn new software and technical production skills.
• Prior experience with Blender, Adobe Creative Suite, Unreal Engine, or related tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Ho Tung Visualization Laboratory & Planetarium seeks a producer to develop digital content for curricula and education initiatives.
