Job summary

Kratos Space Training & Cyber in Orlando, FL is seeking an Instructional System Designer II to lead analysis, design, development, and implementation of complex learning solutions. You will collaborate with SMEs and guide courseware development across computer-based, web-based, and distributed learning formats.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of ISD experience, proficiency with LMS/SCORM, and the ability to translate customer requirements into effective training while adhering to government

Qualifications

• 5–7 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with instructor-led and self-paced training design.
• Experience with web or e-learning production, LMS, SCORM, Section 508.
• Follows standardized instructional design templates to produce lesson storyboard content, course flow diagrams, and instructor and student materials.
• Researches highly technical material and provides graphic and interaction descriptions for production.
• Interprets customer requirements and technical standards to produce effective training.
• Maintains sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
• Interacts effectively with peers and supervisors; with the public when necessary.
• Adheres to workplace rules.

Responsibilities

• Supports Needs Analyses and Front End Analyses.
• Designs, develops, and implements courseware for computer-based, web-based, and distributed learning presentations.
• Selects instructional media, materials, and equipment to meet learning objectives.
• Uses appropriate industry and government standards and specifications.
• Researches and produces clear documentation and other instructional materials to support courseware development.
• Implements adult learning theory into courseware and distance learning environments.
• Attends project meetings.
