Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks an Instructional System Designer II to analyze, design, develop, and implement complex learning solutions for warfighter training using simulations and MIL-STD-compliant media.

You will lead courseware projects, collaborate with SMEs, and ensure adherence to Section 508 and other standards while delivering effective, innovative training programs for diverse audiences.

Competenze

• 5-7 years experience in similar role.
• Experience with the design and development of instructor-led as well as self-paced training.
• Experience with web or e-learning production, Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM, Section 508, and common web development applications.
• Follows standardized instructional design templates to produce lesson storyboard content, course flow diagrams, and instructor and student materials.
• Researches highly technical material and provides graphic and interaction descriptions for production.
• Interprets customer requirements and technical standards to produce effective training.
• Develops instructional design strategies and global templates appropriate to desired learning outcomes.
• Maintains sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
• Interacts effectively with peers and supervisors
• Interacts appropriately with the public when necessary
• Adheres to workplace rules

Kratos has an exciting opportunity for a Instructional System Designer II in Orlando , FL.An Instructional Systems Designer supports the analysis, design, development, and implementation of complex learning solutions by applying instructional design principles to meet organizational goals and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The role requires strong communication and leadership skills to create effective, innovative, and technically sound learning experiences.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Military training experience, especially in an instructor’s role
