Job summary

Beat The Bomb DC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to own the day-to-day operations and guest experience at our Ivy City location. You will lead a high-energy team, manage P&L with the General Manager, and ensure exceptional service while coordinating with HQ on programming and events.

You will drive sales through strong leadership, community engagement, and adherence to safety and quality standards, including nights/weekends as required for entertainment venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in management.
• Management of a facility that includes an F&B component.
• Knows the importance of driving exemplary reviews.
• Entertainment industry requires nights/weekends work.
• Significant knowledge of and relationships in the local market.
• Experience leading new units/locations is a plus.
• Experience in sales/customer service.
• Experience building and leading a team.
• Willingness to relocate in the future is a major plus.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest-centered culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee service quality, operations, guest satisfaction, standards, and finances.
• Manage facility appearance, safety, and inventory.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and payroll.
• Develop programming with HQ to drive sales and inventory.
• Support local marketing efforts and partnerships.
