Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an instructional systems designer to join the Learning and Communications Solutions team. You will design training materials and curricula, develop web-based training, self-paced guides, and evaluations for diverse audiences across digital media platforms including LMS, web, video, and mobile.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and at least 2 years of e-learning experience; a Master’s and ADDIE expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Instructional Systems Design, Training & Development, or other relevant degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing e-learning delivered through digital media (LMS, web, video, mobile).
• Master's degree in Communication, Instructional Systems Design, or Training & Development preferred.
• Experience applying the ADDIE model to ISD projects.
• Experience developing instructor guides, student manuals, workbooks, and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing training materials and curricula to support program implementation across targeted audiences.
• Developing instructional materials and products such as web-based training, self-paced guides, case studies, job aids, and evaluations; scenario-based storyboards; and concepts for technology-based courses delivered online, mobile, and immersive platforms.
• Creating and analyzing assessments to evaluate learning effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrating effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills.
• Working with SMEs to identify training needs and develop solutions.
