Job summary

Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor in Evanston, IL seeks energetic performers to entertain guests and bring immersive experiences to life as directed by Production staff. You will perform shows, participate in meet & greets, and maintain costumes and safety while engaging customers outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Shifts are based on production needs; applicants should be 16 or older and able to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

Perform all shows on time and follow instructions from Lead or Supervisor for Meet & Greets.
Perform roles as set by Production Staff and Full Time Management; adhere to direction during the show's run.
Maintain costume safety and grooming; follow park rules for costumes.
Stay hydrated and prepared for temperature changes.
Ensure guest safety and satisfaction, guide guests and answer park questions as needed.
Keep stage and backstage areas clean and maintained.
Provide a safe walking space around production areas for performers and guests.
Take direction and constructive criticism during rehearsals and productions.
Wear park-approved clothing when entering and exiting park property.
Report unsafe acts or conditions immediately to Lead or Stage Manager.
Train new personnel as needed.
