Qualifications

• Minimum of sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited post-secondary institution, passed a ParaProfessional exam, or an Associate’s Degree (required).
• Possession of a valid teaching license (preferred).
• Participating in a teacher licensure program (preferred).
• Previous classroom teaching experience (preferred).
• Experience working with children (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reports to the assigned school and classroom on time and prepared to fulfill assigned instructional responsibilities.
• Delivers instruction and learning activities as per lesson plans and school division expectations.
• Maintains a safe, orderly, respectful, and productive learning environment.
• Supervises students during instructional and non-instructional activities.
• Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information and follows procedures.
