Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced HLTA to join a supportive primary school in Epping. You will deliver planned lessons, support pupils, and work closely with teaching staff to raise attainment.

The role is full-time and long-term, based in Epping, Essex. The successful HLTA will have strong classroom management, effective communication, and a proactive, flexible approach to meet pupil needs and progress.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working as a HLTA in a primary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons as a HLTA across different year groups.
• Support class teachers and cover lessons as a HLTA.
• Work with small groups and individuals as a HLTA.
• Support pupils with additional needs as a HLTA.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and engagement as a HLTA.
• Contribute to planning and assessment as a HLTA.
