Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide one-on-one in-home care in Charles County, MD, including La Plata and Waldorf. Immediate opportunities with flexible schedules and weekly pay.

Earn $18.00–$20.00 per hour with benefits such as medical, dental, vision plans, 401(k), PTO, and ongoing training. Applicants should have a CNA certificate, 1 year of CNA experience, CPR, First Aid, a valid driver's license, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• CNA certificate or license required.
• At least 1 year of proven CNA experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to speak and understand English for job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to clients to support safety and independence.
• Assist with mobility devices, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Promote comfort and dignity, including ROM exercises and light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals and assist with special diets as needed.
• Offer companionship and monitor health needs and medication reminders.

What You’ll Do

As a valued caregiver, you’ll provide essential support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home, including:

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift)
• Assist with transferring/moving clients
• Lift/move 50 lbs. without assistance
• Support daily living activities
• Light assistance that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence
• Support range-of-motion exercises, and physical care needs
• Meal preparation and special diet support
• Accompany clients on errands or appointments
• Medication reminders
• Provide compassionate companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Perform housekeeping activities

Qualifications and Skills

• CNA Certificate / License
• 1 year of proven experience as CNA
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to speak and understand English as needed for the job
