Job Opportunity: Quality Control Inspector (Entry Level)

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector (Entry Level) for a prominent client. The position is located in Chaska, MN. Details are as follows:

• Title: Quality Control Inspector (Entry Level)
• Location: Lake Hazeltine Dr, Chaska, MN 55318, USA
• Shift: 1^st Shift, Monday-Friday, start between 6AM and 8AM
• Duration: 6+ months with possible extension or conversion to hire
• Hourly Rate on W2: $20/hr

Job Description

Required skills or qualities include being very detail-oriented, having knowledge and experience with various measurement tools, and experience working in a regulated industry. Primary responsibilities include:

1. Performing and coordinating non-destructive testing; inspecting components, procedures, and documentation; identifying quality issues and recommending solutions.
2. Gathering data on equipment/system conditions, maintaining records, writing reports, and analyzing quality data. Traveling to facilities as needed.
3. Developing relationships with technical counterparts, trade allies, and customers.
4. Having three years of inspection/test related experience or training. Inspecting parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to drawings and prints.
5. Initiating non-conformance reports for parts and assemblies not meeting specifications.
6. Ensuring manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.
7. Initiating corrective actions for repetitive quality issues.
8. Completing and distributing quality records and documents.
9. Performing specialized testing as required.
10. Possessing knowledge of dimensional testing and manufacturing, with sound product knowledge.
11. Having a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additionally, experience in the power industry and providing technical support to operations and engineering personnel through inspection and non-destructive testing activities are required. The role involves reviewing, inspecting, and ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
