POSITION SUMMARY

We have immediate openings for Mobile Pre-Purchase Independent Contractor Inspectors (1099) in most US cities. Come and join a dynamic, ground-breaking team that is changing the way consumers make automotive purchase decisions.

This is a CONTRACT/1099 position. You would be an independent contractor and paid a flat rate by our company for your services. Jobs typically pay between $70-150 per inspection with most inspections taking less than an hour.

AS A CONTRACTOR (1099)

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

1. A minimum of 2 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience
2. You must be detail-oriented
3. You must be dependable with reliable transportation
4. You need to be able to use a cell-phone and computer
5. Provide good customer service and communication skills
6. Have the ability to work independently and have a self-starter attitude

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. Walk, bend, stoop, or stand to complete the required tasks
2. Ability to drive to the vehicle location, using your own vehicle
3. Be available during daylight hours
4. Ability to complete assignments within a 48-hour window during daylight hours
5. Supply your own equipment and tools to complete the job

The following tools are required prior to your first assignment:

1. Tire tread gauge
2. Code reader or OBD II Scanner
3. A valid state driver's license along with current vehicle insurance and registration
4. Commercial automotive insurance recommended
5. Cell-phone or camera that takes photos
6. A magnet or Paint thickness gauge
