Aerotek is hiring an Assembler in Irvine, CA for 1st/2nd shifts to produce high-quality medical devices in a clean room environment. The role requires operating machinery, following GMPs, and maintaining traceability, including microscope-based inspections and coating balloon catheters.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in medical device manufacturing, and be willing to overtime. This onsite position offers a path to permanent employment after the contract period.

Qualifications

• Prepare products for packing and sterilization.

• Identify supplies that need replenishing.
• Build components needed for top-level work orders.
• Complete necessary cleaning activities.

Job Description

This role involves the production of high-quality medical devices primarily in a clean room environment. Responsibilities include the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production of medical devices using a microscope, and the operation of various equipment and machinery. The position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and contributes to the delivery of sterile and non-sterile finished goods.

Additional Information:

• 1st Shift: 5:30AM, Mon through Fri

• 2nd Shift: 2:00PM start time, Mon through Fri

• Start times may be adjusted depending on the specific operations assigned. We do ask teammates to work overtime on weekdays and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) if needed.

• Onboarding program will now be running from Monday Wednesday (sometimes Thursday) 8am 4:30pm before they move to their designated shift

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in English at a medium level.

• Willingness to work overtime.

• Comfortable working with chemicals.

• Experience in medical device manufacturing, ideally with microscopes (1+ year).

• Familiarity with cleanroom and gowning/degowning processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or aseptic environments.

• Microscope experience is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
