Job summary

IML Containers/Labels North America Inc. seeks a hands‑on technician to support our in‑mold labeling operations.

You will assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance for injection molding machines, label robots, and related automation systems. This role helps reduce downtime and keep equipment running safely and efficiently, with responsibilities spanning mold handling, label application, machine monitoring, and routine maintenance in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge of gears, motors, belts and sensors.
Able to use common hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen keys).
Ability to read machine instructions and troubleshoot logically.
Experience with injection molding, automation, or IML labeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install and remove molds from injection molding machines.
Set up in-mold label magazines and adjust robot label pickers.
Load labels into IML stations and ensure proper label placement.
Monitor machines for correct label placement and product quality.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, or robotic issues and report recurring problems.
Perform preventative maintenance on IML and molding equipment.
Document maintenance tasks and communicate issues to the team.
Follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
