Job summary

ExamWorks in Roseland, NJ, seeks an IME Specialist to head our Billing and Collections Supervisor function, overseeing a five-person team. The role focuses on medical-claims billing for first party no-fault, personal liability, auto third party, and workers’ compensation, ensuring timely invoicing and compliant collection activity.

You will supervise daily processes, monitor aging accounts, communicate with clients, and maintain HIPAA/security of financial files.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; 3–5 years in IME billing or insurance claims.
• Experience supervising a team in a billing/collections environment.
• Strong attention to accuracy and HIPAA-compliant processes.
• Proficiency with Great Plains, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Collect-IT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoicing and monthly billing reports.
• Supervise billing and collections staff; provide training and guidance.
• Ensure daily invoicing in line with client contracts.
• Monitor aging accounts and follow up with clients as needed.
• Maintain confidential financial files and assist audits.
