Job summary

Advocate Health in West Allis, WI seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). You will join a supportive team providing care to moderately stable patients with complex needs on 12-hour night shifts.

Schedule: 36 hours weekly, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, every third weekend and 50% holiday rotation. Requires RN license, BLS, 1+ year RN experience; BSN preferred. West Allis location with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least 1 year of RN RN experience.

Responsibilities

Build foundational skills and knowledge through Preceptor directed orientation.
Develop skills in triaging, lab interpretation, pathophysiology, pharmacology, time management, and communication for intermediate acuity patients.
Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
Develop collaborative relationships with a multi-disciplinary team.
Provide continuity of care through 12-hour shifts and patient-centered support.
Be a valued member of a skilled nursing team delivering compassionate healthcare.
