UnityPoint Health-Meriter IMCU in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse on a 0.7 FTE basis. The role involves direct patient care on a 45-bed intermediate care unit with rotate days and PMs, 8- and 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.

Requires BSN or equivalent, Wisconsin RN license, CPR, and prior patient care experience; orientation attendance is required for the first two weeks on day shift.

Qualifications

• BSN or other nursing degree will be considered on an individual basis
• Previous patient care experience (may be as a student in a clinical setting)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin
• CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care on the IMCU unit
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal care
• Utilize nursing process to manage acute and chronic conditions on the unit
