Aspirus Health is hiring an IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity unit in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role involves 12-hour day or night shifts, caring for neuro, trauma, post-surgical and complex medical patients in a supportive environment.

RNs with Wisconsin licensure or compact license eligibility, and BLS certification, are encouraged to apply. New graduates are welcome, with strong orientation and onboarding support available.

Formación

• RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills.
• New graduate RNs are welcome to apply.
• Experienced RNs with med-surg, telemetry, step-down, progressive care, IMCU, ICU, or critical care experience encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for IMCU patients requiring closer monitoring.
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Assess, prioritize, and respond to evolving patient needs.
• Care for patients with complex medical, neurological, trauma, and post-surgical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and care team members.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Develop advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Educate patients and families throughout the care process.
