UW Health is expanding our first fully dedicated Intermediate Care (IMC) unit at University Hospital in Madison, WI. We seek an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the front-line team in a 16-bed Hospitalist IMC, caring for adults with high-acuity conditions.

The role emphasizes mentoring, quality improvement, and strategic staffing to optimize patient outcomes in a state-of-the-art environment. Expect 90% day/evening shifts with weekend rotation and career growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• 2 years experience in an inpatient unit required.
• 2 years combined experience and leadership experience may count for inpatient unit requirement.
• 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit preferred.
• Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Optimize patient and staff outcomes through strategic resource allocation and care assignments.
• Drive team excellence by mentoring nurses and leading quality initiatives.
• Partner with management on unit hiring and patient experience strategies.
