Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an RN for PACU on-site, 18-week contract in California. Day shifts are 12 hours, 3 days per week, with varied start times and some days extending to the full shift as needed.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience, CA state licensure (or pending), and EPIC charting familiarity; ACLS/BLS/PALS preferred. This assignment starts 11/02/2026.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required, PACU preferred.
• CA state RN license required or pending license accepted.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• Must be flexible with start times and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients during PACU stay.
• Monitor vitals, manage pain, and ensure safe recovery.
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with surgical teams.
• Assist with transitions to PACU discharge and outpatient areas.

3 - 12s 11a-11p or 9a - 9p.

For Pre/Post the start times vary dependent on the area they are assigned for the day. We will need someone flexible in their schedule. Additionally, nurses scheduled for PACU are expected to stay and finish the day. Outpatient surgery does not have shift relief unfortunately.
