Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse for the PCU/Telemetry suite. This onsite contract runs 13 weeks, starting 10/19/2026, with 12-hour shifts (3 days per week). You will float between units as needed and support patient care in a high-acuity setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of RN experience, strong telemetry skills, and ACLS/BLS; NIHSS is a plus. The facility is a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center with standard dress and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience
• 1:4 patient ratio experience
• ACLS and BLS; NIHSS preferred
• Telemetry/stepdown environment experience

Responsibilities

• Telemetry care in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias
• IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Central and peripheral line care/management

Department Uniform/Dress:
a. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire.
b. The dress code for unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) is solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
