Job summary

Davidson County is seeking an IMC III (Lead Worker) to train and review the work of Income Maintenance staff, ensuring timely and accurate Medicaid and Food & Nutrition Services benefits. The role provides leadership to new caseworkers and ongoing refresher training across programs.

The incumbent will monitor staff performance, assist with complex cases, and help ensure adherence to federal, state, and county policies while maintaining compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent in a human service or related field.
• High school diploma with relevant experience acceptable.
• Four-year degree or several years of public contact experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Income Maintenance staff in Medicaid and Food & Nutrition Services.
• Review work to ensure timely, accurate benefits.
• Assist supervisors in identifying training needs from 2nd party reviews.
• Support caseworkers with complex cases and policy guidance.
• Maintain casework integrity and monitor compliance.
