CareNow is seeking an X-ray Technician and Medical Assistant to join our urgent care team. This role supports radiology services, patient care, and documentation within a busy clinic environment.

The position requires High School Diploma, MA program graduate, and state licenses (GMRT/LMRT/NCT). BLS and screening certifications are required, with EHR experience and strong patient communication essential.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• GMRT/LMRT/NCT license required in state of residency.
• AAMA certification preferred.
• BLS Certification required within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out including chart auditing.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and sent-out lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
