Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality radiographs under the direction of a radiologist. The role requires verifying patient information, preparing the patient, and selecting appropriate imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include positioning, shielding, and ensuring patient safety while delivering clear patient information and maintaining accurate records in PACS.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program recognized by ARRT.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills.
• Strong ability to communicate complex topics to a wide audience.

Responsibilities

• Produce radiographs of various anatomical parts as directed by the radiologist.
• Collect data about the patient and procedure and verify orders.
• Position patients and adjust radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
