Job summary

Excelsior-Orthopaedics is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and support clinical operations. You will maintain patient records in the EMR, prepare patients, and annotate images for interpretation, while following ALARA standards and physician guidance.

The role requires NYS licensure and ARRT certification, with duties including fluoroscopy support, casts/stitches removal, and travel to satellite sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology required.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images under supervision.
• Perform quality control to ensure image quality.
• Prepare patients and educate for radiographic procedures.
• Document procedures in EMR and annotate images for interpretation.
• Follow ALARA radiation safety standards and maintain equipment.
• Assist with removal of casts, sutures, and staples as directed.
• Prepare sterile trays and fluoroscopy equipment as needed.
• Travel to satellite locations for coverage as required.
• Participate in continuing education and OSHA trainings.
