Job summary

Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) in Prestonsburg, Kentucky is seeking a qualified individual to manage and coordinate all daily activities of the department. This role includes acting as a clinical affiliate of the radiologic technology program and supervising up to 30 personnel.

Ideal candidates will have either a bachelor's degree or extensive experience in the field, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Experience in supervisory or teaching roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience required in absence of a bachelor’s degree.
• Three years technical experience mandatory.
• Prefer prior supervisory or teaching experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• In the absence of a bachelor’s degree, five to seven years experience is required.

Minimum Work Experience

• Must have three years technical experience.
• Prefer prior supervisory or teaching experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Must possess state license.

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately
• Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred
• Ability to move or lift patients and equipment
• Ability to work independently within general guidelines
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written
• Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing
• Within 12 months of starting position, will perform full range of CT scans.
• Supervises daily activities of up to 30 technical and clerical personnel and students.
