1200 MH-Memphis Hospitals in Indianapolis is looking for a CT Tech I to operate imaging equipment responsibly for a specified patient population. You will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, perform radiologic procedures, and manage resources efficiently.
The ideal candidate should hold a Technical Degree in Radiology and possess the Registered Radiologic Technologist certification. This role involves physical demands like lifting patients and requires good balance, coordination, and close visual acuity.
The CT Tech I is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures on a specified patient population, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this job, except that the incumbent may occasionally demonstrate various job responsibilities to other associates. The incumbent will observe and instruct student technologists.
The physical demands of this position include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. The candidate must have good balance and coordination. The role requires exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently. The associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform activities such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading. The job involves frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact and exposure to patient body fluids as well as hazardous or poisonous materials. The incumbent must be able to react quickly to emergency situations.
