Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification to perform imaging at an advanced level and mentor staff across units. You will lead accreditation efforts, oversee QA programs, and train technologists on new equipment and techniques.

Role includes overseeing trainings, contributing to protocol development, and supporting offsite locations. Requires ARRT Radiography, CPR/BLS, and 3+ years of diagnostic imaging experience; sign-on bonus offered with commitment to the organization.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified in Radiography is required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accreditation responsibilities.
• Lead tech quality assurance program and update protocols.
• Serve as a technical resource to radiology staff daily.
• Lead training on new techniques and protocols for research studies.
• Create and implement training programs for new locations and staff.
• Perform all duties of Diagnostic Tech I and Advanced Tech II.
• Attend advanced trainings to maintain industry standards.
