Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join Diagnostic Radiology. You will perform X-ray procedures under supervision, ensuring safety and accuracy for patient imaging.

The role requires ARRT registration, an accredited Radiologic Science program, and knowledge of anatomy; EPIC experience is a plus and PACS proficiency is essential. This is a full-time, onsite position with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Science.
• Registration as Radiological Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy; demonstrated through education or experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting radiology orders.
• Experience working with PACS and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs radiological (X-ray) imaging.
• Reads imaging orders and consults with physicians when clarification is needed.
• Interviews patients to assess risk factors for safety.
• Guides patients through the exam, explaining the procedure and ensuring comfort.
• Uploads imaging results to PACS and records to EMR.
