Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking an Imaging Tech Assistant PRN to support safe and timely transport of patients, ensuring high quality customer service and coordination with radiology staff. The role requires engagement with hospital teams and adherence to imaging department policies.

Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Radiology program or have prior imaging department experience, with CPR within 30 days and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be a currently enrolled student in a Radiology program, or have prior work experience in an Imaging Department.
• Six (6) months related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with patients, staff, physicians, and departments.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Adhere to applicable policies and procedures and demonstrate ownership of tasks.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Imaging Tech Assistant is responsible for the safe and timely transport of patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, excellent customer service, effective communications skills, follow applicable policies/procedures, attitude of ownership, and the ability to effectively coordinate with other hospital staff, physicians and departments.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be a currently enrolled student in a Radiology program, or have prior work experience in an Imaging Department
• Six (6) months related work experience preferred.
