Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking an Imaging Technology Assistant to support our imaging team in Raleigh. You will help set up equipment, prep patient rooms, and assist with patient transport during procedures.

You will also receive hands-on training with imaging equipment and computer systems while contributing to daily clerical and technical tasks to keep the department efficient.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Courses in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists with patient care and exam prep.
• Transport and move patients safely and compassionately.
• Prep imaging rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Learn to operate imaging support tools and systems.
• Support clerical and technical tasks to keep the department running.
