Job summary

WakeMed in Raleigh is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the imaging team. You will operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce diagnostic images across pediatrics, the operating room, emergency services, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and outpatient procedures, while delivering compassionate patient care.

You'll participate in a call-back rotation across multiple sites and report to the Radiology Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) or equivalent required.
• One year of radiology clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and produce diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition throughout procedures.
• Prepare patients, review orders, and explain procedures to help patients feel informed.
• Position patients and imaging equipment accurately for quality imaging.
• Maintain imaging equipment and document exam information in electronic systems.
