Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in healthcare or radiology is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Escort and transport patients to imaging areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Assist patients with positioning and transfers onto examination tables as directed.
• Prepare imaging rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Assist technologists during imaging procedures with equipment and supplies under supervision.
• Conduct preliminary screenings (e.g., MRI safety checks) to confirm readiness.
• Verify physician orders and obtain patient histories as directed.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging appointments; manage routine clerical tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and assist with data entry in EHRs.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or shortages to staff.
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and organizational policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging areas; stock supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with patient care within training scope.
