Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a medical setting or 6 months with medical terminology and anatomy courses.
• Experience with CareConnect, PACS and Picture and Archive Communications systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft product suite; comfortable learning other systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives calls from internal and external customers needing images or reports.
• Retrieves and creates patient electronic folders; shares reports and images with physicians.
• Troubleshoots PACS issues to meet turnaround times and proper exam coding.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives and supports equipment maintenance.
