Job summary

Parrish Medical Center's Information Systems/IT department is seeking a healthcare IT professional to support day-to-day operation and maintenance of PACS/RIS and related imaging systems. You will troubleshoot, coordinate with radiology staff, and assist in system upgrades and training.

The role requires an Associate's degree (or current pursuit) and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical imaging environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or working toward same; healthcare, computer science, or business preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a related role.
• Formal Education: Associates Degree or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations and maintenance of PACS/RIS and related systems.
• Resolve tickets and requests in a timely manner.
• Escalate issues beyond authority to supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with DI/Cardio staff and physicians on PACS/RIS issues.
• Maintain PACS daily work-list and QA issues.
• Support training of new staff on systems and access control.
