Job summary

Kodak Alaris is seeking a self-motivated Imaging Systems Engineer to join our Kodak Moments Hardware Systems Solutions group. The role covers end-to-end system development from architecture to sustaining engineering for photo kiosks and imaging hardware.

This position involves cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, service, and manufacturing teams, with travel as needed. Camera and imaging experience is strongly desired, and software support tools may be used for evaluation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and computer-based systems.
• Strong systems engineering with requirements definition, architecture, integration, and lifecycle support.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• Familiarity with photo printing systems, retail kiosks, or commercial imaging products.
• Experience with Windows and Linux hardware integration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to develop prototype software, scripts, or proof-of-concept tools.

Responsibilities

• Define system and product requirements and contribute to system architecture.
• Evaluate, select, integrate, and validate subsystems to meet requirements.
• Design, build, document, and test prototypes to validate concepts.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues using lab equipment and root-cause analysis.
• Provide end-to-end system design, validation, and commercialization support.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with software/QA on interfaces, SDKs, and drivers.
• Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and service teams for deployment.
