Job summary

Kodak Alaris is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. This role requires frequent travel to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure optimal system performance.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, reads schematics, holds a valid driver's license, and can travel up to 50–75% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of field service, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial equipment repair.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including motors and drives; sensors and controls; electrical testing equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including reading electrical schematics.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 50-75% as required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Required Qualifications

• Electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including:
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to [50-75%] as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology.
• OSHA training or other safety certifications.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple service calls and projects.

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour contingent on level of experience.
