Job summary

Kodak Alaris is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. The role requires frequent travel to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose issues, ensuring optimal system performance.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical skills, reads schematics, and maintains a safety-focused approach. A high school diploma or GED is required, with technical training preferred; travel up to 50–75% is expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; technical degree or vocational training preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial equipment repair.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including motors and drives, sensors and controls.
  • Electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.).
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-75% as required.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of electrical and mechanical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

This role requires frequent travel to customer locations to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple service calls and projects.

Compensation:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour contingent on level of experience.
