Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of imaging systems across our healthcare network. This role supports the clinical environment, enabling seamless image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange with EMR, RIS, and PACS interfaces.

The position involves project management, vendor coordination, and ongoing workflow enhancements, plus QA and regulatory compliance with DICOM/HL7 standards.

Qualifications

• Background in Information Systems or Technology.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma and healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal viewing/interpretation of medical images.
• Manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice systems.
• Maintain data integrity and optimize workflows.
• Contribute to project lifecycle docs and testing.
• Ensure QA, compliance, and post-implementation support.
