Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems. This remote-based role involves managing interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition, while supporting project management, vendor relations, and imaging workflow improvements.

The role requires knowledge of DICOM/HL7 standards, system upgrades, data retrieval for KPIs, and collaboration across clinical and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or a healthcare environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Image management and system optimization to support viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Project management and development support across lifecycle of imaging solutions.
• Communication and stakeholder engagement with management, vendors, and technical teams.
• IT and technical support including vendor management and system upgrades.
• Quality assurance and compliance testing and documentation.
