Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to explain exams to patients and answer basic questions.
• Familiarity with imaging workflows and patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to radiology technologists, nurses and physicians in Imaging Services.
• Coordinate patient flow, verify paperwork and orders, escort patients between areas.
• Assist in exam setup, transport of patients, and processing films and paperwork.
• Prepare procedure rooms, monitor equipment, and maintain supply stock.
• Communicate with staff to coordinate care and escalate discrepancies.
• Utilize RadNet, PACS and EPIC for scheduling and orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Perform clerical/technical tasks as assigned by the Manager.
