Job summary

Corewell Health in Michigan is seeking an Advanced Imaging Assistant to support technologists and patient care in the imaging suite. You will help set up rooms, position patients, and assist with IV starts and contrast when needed.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies within a patient-centered care environment. This is a part-time daytime position at Grosse Pointe Hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or ARC) Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and safety procedures in imaging settings.
• Set up scan rooms, position patients, and apply coils or supports.
• Assist with IV starts and contrast administration under supervision.
• Support in emergency situations including contrast reactions.
• Verify exam details and prepare CDs for patients.
• Transport patients to and from scan rooms.
• Assist with supply and linen management.
